At Northview Healthcare, our clients are at the heart of everything that we do. We work in partnership with each person, agreeing together how we will support them to be as independent as possible, both in their own home and their local community. We also take into account the perspectives of their relatives and any practitioners who might be assisting them.
Each individual receives emotional and physical support from a specialist staff team who are trained to meet their specific needs. We carefully match our team members to each person so that we can nurture trusting and positive relationships. With individually tailored support from people they feel comfortable and secure with, people receiving support quickly grow in confidence.
Support is available from a few hours a week to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including 1:1 support.

Why is person-centered care important for patients
1.Patients will have more trust and confidence in the care they receive: If a carer treats someone with dignity and respect and helps them retain their independence as much as possible, the entire care experience will be much better and easier for both patient and staff.
Once the patient trusts your care and knows that you will not carry out fast and unexpected actions without their consent, they can relax and trust you with their care.
- Person-centered care improves the quality of life:By meeting the emotional, social, and practical needs of your patients, you can help them enjoy life. Disabilities, old age, and other special needs might limit patients, but that doesn't mean they can't live fulfilling lives.
- More satisfied patients: People's emotional and social needs are met in this approach, and they will be able to maintain a high quality of life, making them more satisfied with the care. In addition, if a patient is involved in developing their treatment plan, they are more likely to adhere to it.
4. Improves independence and confidence: When patients participate in decision-making, they adhere to the plan and take medication, exercise, or do anything else as directed.
